Motherhood and the Beast Within — First Solo Museum Exhibition

Elleny Gherghe announces a significant milestone in her career: her first solo exhibition in a museum. Motherhood and the Beast Within opens on 1 September 2026 at the Dimitrie N. Ghika Museum of Ethnography and Contemporary Art, Ghika Palace, 38 Republicii Street, Comănești, Romania.

Bringing together approximately 20 works, the exhibition explores the experience of motherhood through visual, metaphorical and psychological narratives. The works approach motherhood from personal and social perspectives while reflecting on its broader, universal dimensions.
