A group exhibition organised by Sofia Urbina & Baluarte.es, gathering artists from four continents around the question of identity.
Arte y Concierto was a group exhibition organised by Sofia Urbina and Baluarte.es, held at Alberto Bosch 11 in Madrid from 18 May to 19 June 2023.
Staged in a penthouse near El Retiro and the Prado Museum, the exhibition brought together artists from four different continents in a domestic setting rather than a conventional gallery space.
The exhibition explored the theme of identity and its relationship to formative years and to the societies in which each artist lives, placing very different languages — painting, sculpture and object — in dialogue with one another.
Elleny Gherghe took part alongside Angeles Agrela, Jordi Ribes, Isshaq Ismail, Daniel Arsham, Aboudia, Ivan Forcadell, A Kassen, Taher Jaoui, Christoph Rymon, GN Escultores, Hugo Alonso, Pablo Benzo, Edu Carillo, Javier Ruiz and Turi Simeti.
