The Devotion painting is an original artwork by Elleny Gherghe, created to accompany the main pieces and theme of the collection. This little swallow bird symbolises an oath to one’s sacred expedition, which may be long and tortuous, but will not stand in the way of honoring it’s vow.

It beautifully complements the other paintings from this collection. Pairing them in different arrangements can form wonderful idioms, both visually and through their own individual stories.

Elleny’s Tip: There are a few other paintings that go very well with “Devotion” – out of all, I recommend Freedom as a great match. But feel free to let your imagination fly and see how you can create your own personal meaning out of their stories.

The Devotion painting is part of the “Token of Love” original paintings collection.

The collection includes a total of fourteen paintings, out of which the two main pieces visually represent the centre subject of the story. It was my wish to create this modern time interpretation of the “Lover’s Eyes” story and inspire you to share it as a gift to your closest ones, but this time, to also attach your own touch and personal message of love and affection to it.
