Anima Mundi

“Anima Mundi” is the link between all earthly elements and the divine energy which brings them to life, beyond their physical embodiment. This is my creative tribute to the connection between our inner essence and the soul of the world.
These characters are painted to shed light upon a mysterious and forgotten part of ourselves and to help us remember there is more to it, beyond what simply meets the eye.

I started working on “Anima Mundi” in early 2021. But there were several years of study and experiences, both academic and personal, which have led me to this point. It all started with my earlier studies and works on the theme of Jung’s “archetypes’’ in 2016.

I had, since then, intuitively continued to illustrate this concept on canvas, especially while I discovered a new part of the world and myself through it. My early experiences in Andalucia, Spain, have unlocked new secrets of nature for me. The until-then hidden perspective over the natural world has been revealed to me through forms and expressions of landscapes, fauna, and flora.

This has triggered an inner alchemy effect, driving me to paint this newly discovered light – a never-ending source of creative energy and inspiration.
