Elleny Gherghe’s painting Hopes and Dreams was presented in Hair Stories by Elseve L’Oréal Paris at Art Safari Museum in Bucharest, Romania, from 6 September to 15 December 2024.
Bringing together works by 20 contemporary Romanian women artists, the exhibition considered hair as a subject through which identity, femininity, cultural affiliation and social convention may be explored across oneiric, symbolic and contemporary visual languages.
